4 Tips On How to Live More Intentionally for Better Productivity
It’s all too easy to drift mindlessly throughout the day. Between external pressures and constant distractions, many of us never pause to reconsider how we spend our time. But even if living intentionally doesn’t come naturally to you, it’s well worth the effort to make it a habit.
Here’s why. Living intentionally means consciously deciding what to do with your time. It’s easy to get trapped in a constant cycle of reacting to outside events, but living this way can leave you feeling frustrated, unfulfilled, and unproductive. Living intentionally lets you take back control over your time and attention.
It’s not easy to stay productive when you’re feeling distracted, harried, or anxious. But when you practice living with intention, your focus stays intact, no matter how busy you are. Choosing what to do with each hour helps you feel less stressed while making the most of your time at work and at home.
1. Take Time to Center Yourself Regularly
If you notice that you’re feeling scattered or frazzled, stop what you’re doing for a second. Take a few deep breaths and turn your attention to the present moment by using the 5 Minute Meditation For Focus on your list of intentions. Ask yourself, “What do I need to be focusing on right now?” Give that one thing all of your attention, keeping your mind in the present.
2. Focus on Your Health
Your health makes a big impact on your overall well-being and productivity, so make a conscious decision to prioritize it. Eat well, get enough sleep, and get some exercise every day. Even small lifestyle changes can make a difference in your mood and energy levels.
3. Rethink Your Habits
Do you spend a lot of time on Netflix, social media, or video games? Most of us have some mindless habits that can eat up a lot of time. In moderation, it’s okay to enjoy these activities. But if you aren’t happy with how much time you lose to these mindless habits, it might be time to cut back. Decide how much time you’re willing to spend on these activities every day, and set a timer to remind yourself when it’s time to stop.
4. Allocate Your Time Wisely
We all get twenty-four hours every day, but if you use your time well, it can feel like much more. Take a few minutes every morning to decide what you want to accomplish and when. Making a to-do list can help keep you on track. This simple tip can increase your everyday productivity dramatically.
If you want to make the most of your time, living intentionally is a must. Make a habit of being intentional with your time and attention, and you’ll become happier, more productive, and more mindful.
Setting intentions for your highest good can be as powerful and as effective as you want to make them.
You have the freedom and the power within you to become whoever you want to be in your life. You can create as many intentions for your life with the 5 Minute Meditation Script as you want when you consciously base them on your intentions.
So many of us try to “fix” what we don’t like about how we are living our lives. That’s a really negative and unproductive approach to living. We mostly focus on some future event or time that takes us out of living in the present moment.
What really happens is that we are not living our best authentic life and we’re not enjoying each moment and not effectively creating the true future that we truly want.
These examples of intentions can get you started setting intentions and manifesting intentions that you intend to create the life you truly desire. You are free to use or modify these examples of intentions to get started:
I intend to lead by example at work and with my children today.
I intend to love all people unconditionally.
I intend to stop taking what is said to me personally.
I intend to manifest happiness naturally with joy and gratitude.
I intend to see the goodness around me in everyone and everything.
I intend to be kind even when I feel the pressure of life.
I intend to make someone smile every day.
I intend to freely forgive others and myself at all times.
I intend to make mindfulness an important part of each day.
I intend to suspend judgment and accept life as it is in the moment.
Tips For Writing A “Higher Good Intention” During Your 5 Minute Meditation
- Affirm Only What You Want to truly happen in your life.
- Write As If It Is Happening Now in this present time.
- Focus On The Feeling, allow yourself to feel the exciting end result. Even if it’s a bit of a stretch in your belief system. It’s ok to “fake it till you make it” with intentions.
- Check For The Words “Try” And “But”, If your intention is to reduce stress, say something like, “My intention is to invite peace and calm within myself today.” Try to avoid saying something like, “I will try to stop stressing today.”
- Begin and end With Gratitude, gratitude is a powerful and self-healing emotion. Begin using this in your life, the Universe will greatly reward you!
- Make It Believable. Instead, of some distant, unachievable destination that you really don’t believe, make your powerful intention for your higher good your new reality by using the 5 Minute Meditation For Beginners Mp3 above and zero in on your real intentions.
. For example, instead of saying, “I want to quickly lose 25 pounds,” say, “I’m going to treat myself to nutritious and organic food because I’m a healthy person and I deserve to feel healthy today.”
- Write Down Your Intentions In A Journal, and review them each morning while you’re having your tea or coffee. Do this first thing when you get up, for a short time your mind is still in the Theta frequency range for learning and manifesting.
Now that you have put your vision, and intentions working into your new life and future, and you’ve written them down where you can see them every day, it’s time to take action.
Oftentimes we allow the day, or the week, or the month to happen to us without much thought, when you are setting intentions, you are activating your receptivity and ability for manifesting intentions in your life by putting out into the universe the things that are most important to you.
This 5 Minute Meditation has life-changing ideas and desires you intend to attract and call forward into your life, and that is the power behind setting intentions for your highest good.

With momentum like that, there is so much incredible success in your future. The 365 days are going to pass anyway, why not make each day count?
Why Do We Sabotage Our Own Best Intentions by Procrastinating?
Many of us sabotage our own best intentions when learning how to meditate by not even realizing it, through procrastinating in relation to all of the work and essential chores we need to get done. There are a number of reasons for this.
Tips for Putting a Stop to Procrastination
Procrastination is a huge problem in the world. Many people do it. Sometimes they think that if they put something off, it will be less of a task later, but that’s not exactly true. At any rate, it’s a big problem, and it happens with work, household tasks, important projects and so on. people do it all the time.
The following are some tips for getting your mind right if you are a procrastinator. The 5 Minute Meditation above can help you get motivated.
Do Your Undesirable Tasks First
One way to trick yourself into getting happy about a task that you’re procrastinating on is to think about your desirable tasks. You can go do all those fun tasks that you love to do just as soon as you get finished with the one that seems laborious. It’s a way of tricking yourself into having mindfulness for productivity.
Focus on the Accomplishments
All tasks that you complete in your life are called accomplishments. You can change your mindset and turn it from negative or hesitant to positive by thinking about the accomplishment that you will have completed on that day when you can finally say that you’re done with that task.
One way you can help yourself accomplish this is to use the 5 Minute Meditation Mp3 Download above and even rewrite the 5 Minute Meditation Script on setting intentions that make sense to you to keep your self motivated and thinking positive.
It feels good to get finished with a task, especially a challenging task. You can even promise yourself a little “reward” when you are done so that it will boost your motivation a little bit more. There’s nothing like a reward to just make you put out a sigh of relief when you’re done with something that was majorly important.
Be Mindful of the Other Person
If the task that you have to do is for your loved one, boss, friend or some otherwise important individual, you should consider how that person will feel if you take too long with the project. Now think about how happy that person will be when you deliver his or her product, service or favor. Think about the smile that will appear on that person’s face when you do this.
Tell Yourself That You Can Do This
Finally, the most important part is the “I can” specifics. tell yourself that you are more than capable of doing what you need to do. Refuse to be too tired to do it. Refuse to be too upset to do it. Refuse to put it off for another minute.
Look in the mirror and say, “Today is the day that I’m going to accomplish XYZ, and just do it. Don’t even think about it. Just start doing it and then you’ll get into the groove quickly, especially if it’s a task that will get your heart rate up a little bit.
Those are just some ideas to get you out of the detrimental mindset of procrastination. Try them the next time you
drag your bum on anything.
The first reason is that we might be our own worst enemy and critic. Negative self-talk along the lines of, “That’s way too hard – if you try, you’ll probably just fail anyway,” make us sabotage ourselves.
This can start at a very early age. It might begin with a parent or teacher who never seemed satisfied no matter how hard we tried. Children love to please the adults they look up to. Failure in academic work can make THEM feel like a failure, not that their test or report got a failing grade.
This can lead to poor self-esteem and a lack of self-confidence. Suddenly, even the most ordinary tasks become a dangerous minefield in which any step they take could lead to disaster. That being the case, it is safer and easier to just stand still rather than try to move forward.
This paralysis then leads to lost opportunities, stress at work and at home, and damage to many of our relationships. If your hypercritical parent starts to label you a lazy good-for-nothing, procrastinating will turn you into that person.
Another reason for procrastination and paralysis is the idea that since nothing we ever do is good enough, it has to be perfect. But perfection is in the eye of the beholder. Spending weeks on a task that should only have taken a day or two is a sign that you might be seeking perfection when you really just need to get it done. You feeling your work is not good enough becomes the same as feeling YOU are not good enough.
Lack of Motivation
Some people attribute procrastination to a lack of motivation. But we do not need to psych ourselves up to go to the beach or eat ice cream. We need no reason to do something fun. We do need a motive to act when things start to get tough, though.
You can use the 5 Minute Meditation Morning Mp3 first thing in the morning to get you focused and motivated for the tasks you have to do during the day. Use this 5 Minute Meditation For Focus anytime during the day you need an extra boost.
One clue that you are sabotaging yourself is if you just can’t get started on a project – even if it is an interesting one you would actually enjoy. Or things are going well, but you suddenly stop when 90% of the task is complete.
How to Stop Procrastinating
So how can we defeat these three behaviors that cause us to procrastinate? There are a number of ways, depending on which one we wish to tackle.
* Recognize you are doing it.
* Note whose “voice” you hear when it is happening. One person reported that it sounded just like his nagging mother. Once he made that connection, he could re-tune his thinking to a different channel, with his own voice.
* Accentuate the positive to counter the negative. For everything you find fault with, think of at least three things you do well.
* Remind yourself that it does not need to be perfect; it just has to get done.
* Remind yourself that no one is perfect, so it is unreasonable for anyone in your life to expect you to be.
* Remind yourself that we are human beings, not human DOINGS. The work you do is important, but it is not the same as who you are as a person.
Lack of Motivation
* Set goals and track your progress towards them.
* Look for the fun in every task.
* Motivate yourself with a reward at the end of a task. The bigger the task, the better the reward.
The last rule is to be patient and kind to yourself. It may take some time to realize your intention and for it to manifest, look for synchronicities to appear in your daily life; don’t expect instant results. The Universe has its own perfect timing. Remember, the Universe adores you!
Keep setting your intention every day. Watch as your intentions manifest towards your highest potential and greatest good in ways that may be different and even better than you ever imagined. Your focused energy on your intention that is clear, confident and positive will allow you to be most successful in realizing what you desire.
5 Minute Meditation Script – Setting Intentions For Your Highest Good
I truly hope you found the 5 Minute Meditation of great value to your meditation practice. Please do consider using the meditation as a and 5 Minute Meditation morning to create a peaceful and highly effective start to your day
Beginning Of 5 Minute Meditation Script
Begin by sitting in a comfortable position. Placing your palms in your lap facing downwards. And gently closing your eyes.
Pay close attention to your breath. Noticing the sensations of it entering into your body. And exiting your body. And on your next inhale, let your breath be extra deep and long. Feeling your stomach expand, filling your lungs completely and holding it at the top.
When you’re ready, let it go with a sigh. Notice how you sink in a little more deeply to the moment when you do this.
Repeat two more times, taking two deep breaths at your own pace. And holding them at the top. Before releasing with a sigh.
This is your time. To connect to who you really are. To be present with your body, your heart, and your mind. At the end of your second long, deep breath, just returned to a regular piece of breathing. Noticing how you’re more centered. More at the moment. More connected to the physical sensations within your body.
Throughout the course of this meditation, if you find your mind wandering, know that that’s perfectly OK. Do not judge yourself when this happens. Just return your awareness back to these words. Back to the music. Back to your breath.
In this moment. We prepare our bodies, hearts, and mind. For setting an intention for our highest, most loving good. Intention setting is a powerful tool. When we set an intention. We connect ourselves to the energy of the desired outcome.
The more we focus on the energy behind this desired outcome, the easier it is to welcome it into our lives. Take a moment to tune into what you are setting your intention for. Once you have that in mind. Let yourself, fill in the rest of this sentence. The way I desire to feel around this intention is… Focus on the feeling you are trying to create…
You may not have words for the feeling. Or you may have many words for the feeling. The point is that at this moment. You focus in on the emotion. Behind your intention. So often we’re tempted to focus on things like goals and tasks associated with our intention.
But really, the emotion guides you. When you feel the emotion of already having your intention happen. You become an effortless magnet, attracting the perfect opportunities and people. For your intention to happen effortlessly.
Take the feeling of your intention already being accomplished. Take that feeling with you as you begin to bring your awareness back to the room around you.
And when you’re ready. Open your eyes.
