7. Justifying why quitting is a bad idea. You have a lot more to lose than you realize right now. There's a reason you're reading about meditation right now. Listen to your inner voice and have complete faith in yourself.

"This is a waste of time" is a common thought. "What am I doing?" "Is this the end of it?" Again, sit with your thoughts and observe them. Every idea is as insignificant as the next.

Acknowledge that your discomfort with stillness is bothering you. You'll realize that many things you do in your life are to avoid this sensation. This includes behaviors such as staring at the television and overeating. Listen to your inner spirit; change can be beneficial here.
