But does this all really work? I decided to try it out.

On placing my order, I received my download links pretty much instantly — and got to work exploring the contents.

The complete Sleep Solan program includes a 40+ page pdf user manual to get you started on the right foot, and 12 different mp3s sleep sessions so you can tailor your own personal sleep sessions.

The first thing that strikes you with this program is how genuinely comprehensive it is. Many similar programs have a “one size suits all” approach when it comes to brainwave entrainment. I know, because I’ve tried many of them in the past. You listen to a single audio MP3 and it’s supposed to help you fall asleep. But life isn’t like that, and while such sessions may work for many that use them, the rest require a more personalized prescription.

Certainly, there are sessions in there for handling occasional sleeplessness. But you’ll also find sessions for getting to sleep when you have chronic insomnia, a slow wave disorder (such as depression), or for deep healing sleep when you have chronic pain.

Most programs don’t even consider these more niche markets. There are also programs for overcoming caffeine addiction, handling body-clock issues, and getting over stress-related sleep problems. (The almost ‘plain’ website doesn’t make it clear the program is so comprehensive.)

To get started just read through the guide, identify what kind of sleep issues you have, then listen to the right session. It seemed simple. So I decided to give it a go.

I personally started with the ‘Sleep Induction with Night Sounds’ MP3. It apparently lasts for 50 minutes, although I didn’t make it that far. I remember hitting the ‘play’ button, and then relaxing to the etheric, deep space-like noises (mixed with chirping crickets) as it played out on my bedside Smart Phone dock.

Surprisingly, I dozed off within minutes. I woke up naturally almost 8 hours later, a true miracle for someone like myself, typically tortured with just four hours sleep a night, maximum.

This can be a lot of technical information when someone is just learning about chakra meditation for beginners, however, just take it slow and add to your knowledge along the way and you will get there in time.

Chakra meditation helps to strengthen weak chakras and will benefit your health, wisdom, and happiness in all areas of life.

How to Perform a Chakra Meditation

The first few times you practice a Chakra meditation, make sure that you have an expert to guide you. Ideally face to face, but at least with a guided Mp3. You need to make sure that your Chakras are left more in balance at the end of the meditation than they were when you started!

Start your chakra meditation by sitting down, cross-legged in a quiet, dimly lit room

Make sure that your spine is straight but not stiff

Close your eyes then take a deep breath and start to relax

Now go through each Chakra in turn, starting with the Root Chakra:

  • Imagine that you are drawing energy up from the earth, through the Root Chakra and that this is building up in the base of your spine.
  • Then the navel Chakra: feel the concentration of energy building up around your navel and visualize a flow of warm lava out of this Chakra center.
  • Moving on to the solar plexus Chakra, let your stomach muscles relax deeply and sense the movement of the energy through your diaphragm.
  • Next is the Heart Chakra. Imagine your heart getting stronger with every breath. See and feel a bright light radiating out from this area.
  • Progressing on to the Throat Chakra, breathe in with force. Then gradually relax your tongue, shoulders, and neck.
  • For the brow Chakra, keeping your eyes closed, focus on your “third eye” (the point between your eyebrows). Endeavor to see this area even though your eyes are close and observe what you are seeing.
  • Finally, it’s the crown Chakra. Visualize a beautiful lotus with a thousand petals blossoming from the tip of your head. As you visualize, see the color change from deep violet through to a brilliant white light.

Done correctly, the Chakra meditation can bring you into union with your God. It is a very powerful form of meditation and helps you to stabilize your body, bringing inner peace and harmony to you.

Balancing Chakras In The Human Body

Balancing Chakras is founded on the ancient Amerind impression in a series of 7 Chakras, or energy centers located in the human body. These energy centers are believed to be placed at particular points between the pedestal of the spinal column and the top of the head.

Some esoteric systems include additional chakras, said to extend beyond the tangible consistency into the human auric field. Each Chakra is believed to relate to particular organs of the consistence, ailments, colors, elements, and emotions.

The conception of balancing Chakras plays a key role in two ancient Amerindian language healing systems (ayurvedic medicine and yoga) that popular today. In recent decades, however, many modern therapies (like polarity therapy, therapeutic touch, process acupressure, core energetics, and semblance therapy ) rich person besides incorporated the idea of Chakras into their own visions of healing.

Balancing the human body with a chakra meditation is believed to promote wellness by maximizing the stream of vim in the organic structure, much as a tune-up enables a car to operate on at peak efficiency. balancing Chakras is part of the ancient feeling arrangement connected with yoga practice.

These traditions were handed down orally for thousands of years before being codified by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras, several centuries before Christ. The ancient healing science of Ayurveda is on a collection of scriptures known as Vedas (a Sanskrit word meaning knowledge or wisdom).

Ayurveda literally means “life knowledge.” It remained the predominant form of care in India until the British colonial government tried to suppress it during the nineteenth century. Over the last half-century, however, a modernized form of has gained considerable popularity in India.

More recently, traditional chakra meditation has been popularized in the West by such high-profile advocates as Deepak Chopra.

Balancing Chakras is believed to promote general and well-being by ensuring the free-flowing of life push (too known as Parana or Qi) throughout the physical structure. It is believed that blockages in the current of this vital get-up-and-go will eventually result in mental, emotional, and/or touchable illness.
