Inner Self Meaning And Who You Really Are
Your Inner Self is who you really are on the inside. To know your inner self is to know your purpose, values, vision, goals, motivations, and beliefs. Not what you have been told by others, but what you have discovered for yourself.
These ideals don’t represent who you fundamentally are on the inside. Knowing your inner self requires a high level of introspection and self-awareness and inner self-meditation.
Inner Self Meaning – the Inner Self is basically a term that describes the spirit (heart) and the mind, as opposed to the outer self which refers to the physical body and social relatedness.
Do you lay awake at night or find yourself daydreaming about living a life where problems just don’t exist for you in your everyday life? Imagine life with all the money you could ever need, the perfect spouse, kids, car, job, education, hair and body.
Wouldn’t you wake up feeling unstoppable, on top of the world, never out of control, tired or stressed out? Wouldn’t your life just be perfect as you just float through your day with all your wildest dreams manifesting right before your very eyes? But wait a minute, is this even possible?
Finding Your True Inner Self
When you take on the motivation and the spiritual process of finding your true inner self, then and only then will you be able to create a life that is full of meaning, love, and peace. (Remember, this is a dimension of cause and effect) This is not a pipe dream, most people struggle with or aren’t even aware that their inner self even exists.
However, once you begin to understand the principles, you may be pleasantly surprised to find that the best life you could ever imagine is nothing like what you thought, and it’s even better than you could have imagined.
The very important process of learning the principles of developing and living the awareness of your inner self will bring a life worth living and bring peace and balance to everything you do and create for yourself into the future.
If this is something you desire for your self, you are in the right place. There’s hardly a meditation method that is more important than this for yourself. Let’s begin your journey into inner self-awareness.
1. Remembering Who You Are, Your true Inner Self
They say in metaphysics that everything you manifest in your life is from the inside first and then appears in the outer world of your experience. As within, so without. So, what’s the problem with our lives? Well, really nothing, the problem is our expectations such as needing more love from the people around us.
One key to a better life is to create a list of our most valuable goals, beliefs, important values that align with the life we want. There are seven primary values that constitute the essence of living from our heart that when expressed in our daily lives enable us to function as a portal to our innermost self or soul energy, they are Appreciation, Compassion, Forgiveness, Humility, Understanding, and Valor. Ok, great but what is the seventh value? All six values create the most important value of all, Love.
This is who we can become on the inside so that we can manifest this soul energy and become tuned in with the work we are doing on our inner self for a life of peace and true lasting joy.
2. Discover Who You Are Today and Start the Inner Self Journey Process
Do some research on these six values and contemplate the timeline of your life so far. Where did you excel in these values and whare did you fall short in your life so far? This will allow you to understand how you can make a real effort for improvement and begin the inner journey process of living an authentic life.
3. Realize Where You Go From Here To Create Ballance Between Your Inner and Outer life
Understanding these six values and where they fit into your life will help you clearly see where the imbalance is. Be compassionate with your self, let go of the past and start anew right now, today and move forward.
Remind yourself often that by living your life according to the six values, you can create self-motivation and drive in quiet reflection and deep meditation. It is important to find a way to immerse yourself in solitude and meditation each day if possible.
Meditation and solitude will calm down your nervous system for healing and clear your mind so you can create the life that you truly want to live.
4. Powering Your Inner Self Meditation For Real-World Results
When you learn to meditate you are clearing your mind so that you can concentrate on manifesting the world you want to live in. This allows your inner self to emerge into your life so you can make the very important life decisions based on who you truly are and not what someone else or the media wants you to be.

How To Achieve Spiritual Awakening
Go look at an Indian guru or a Buddhist monk, and you’ll observe that there’s a dreamy look in their eyes or a state of bliss that emanates from their countenance.
Since most people, especially those living in the city, are invaded by stress in an environment where deadlines, expectations, and goals are at the forefront of their thoughts, the urge to disentangle yourself from worldly worries and constant flow of thoughts can take its hold every once in a while.
Some resort to travel and some depend on the company of friends. But after the weeding out of negative thoughts, you will most likely find yourself in the midst of stress again once you go back into the real world. So what’s the best cure after initial attempts to find solace have failed? It can be summed up in two words: spiritual awakening.
What Is Spiritual Awakening?
Spiritual awakening is a process that takes place in your individual being or your Inner Self. It involves heightened consciousness, enlightenment, and transcendence. How do we exactly reach this state? Does it involve secluding ourselves in a room and concentrating as hard as we can? Maybe so, but the act of achieving spiritual awakening is a much more sophisticated process.
The Importance of Achieving Spiritual Growth
Among anything else, spiritual growth is very important for you to truly feel satisfied and happy in life. Not only should we content ourselves with the worldly and material things that we can find around ourselves, but we should also fill the holes that bear such emptiness inside.
Therefore, it is very important that you find both the time and means for growing spiritually wherein you make yourself attuned with spiritual and Inner Self capacities. Contentment and lack of desire for worldly possessions is the true meaning of spiritual growth.
When your perception of life transcends the need for material possessions to quantify your Inner Self, then you can proudly claim that you are liberated and that you have spiritually grown.
On the whole, spiritual growth is the process where a person develops consciousness. In fact, there are scores of ways to achieve such a thing but first, it is important that you should come to see the world in a truly different light – seeing the world as something changing for the better and not for the worse.
Basically, spiritual awakening is when a person perceives the world as something else that is definitely much better than how other people perceive it. In a sense, it is when a person develops their inner consciousness and becomes more aware of the value of things that surround us.
That is why it is very essential that we should realize the greater need to achieve an awakened spirit by understanding and tapping into our Inner Self rather than dwelling into worldly and materialistic desires. With an awakened spirit, a person can truly feel satisfied not only with ourselves but with the world which surrounds us in our everyday life.
A World In A Different Light – Seeing Light In Everything
As our spirits are slowly being awakened, we can then see the world in a much different light. The world that we see as an evil place where materialism and capitalism reign suddenly becomes something that is much more beautiful and worthy of preservation.
And what is more, as your spiritual Inner Self is being opened to the true light of the world, we can then understand how it truly turns around; and as soon as we know it, we can already make it evolve into the things that we so desire.
Clearly, by a mere understanding of how the world works, we can make it work in such a way that our spirits will attract countless positive things.
Yes, you can say it is very much easy for us to blame the world for everything bad that happens to us. We point fingers to the people who are around when something negative happens. However, such a state of mind can definitely be a hindrance to achieving spiritual growth.
But on the other hand, someone who has successfully become spiritually developed can easily make sound decisions regarding previous negative experiences. Later on, we will be able to turn them into positive events as well. Really, it is important that a person finds the light in everything that they do and everything that happens to them for us to achieve spiritual growth.
Changing Attitudes – Seeing The World In A New Way
In the same manner, as a person achieves growth in a spiritual sense, we can then better understand the concepts we could not comprehend that time when we have not dealt with developing our spiritual growth. And so, as a person progresses into their journey for spiritual growth, we will surely see a new meaning to every little thing that happens to us and what is more, we will definitely be more appreciative of the world we live in.
As soon as we achieve spiritual growth, it means that our attitudes also change. The world that we once saw as a negative piece of habitat will actually be transformed into something filled with positive energy. What is more, as we perceive the world as such, we also start to see other people in a different light. We then realize that although we may not know every person living on the planet, everything we do can indefinitely change their lives and the courses of their actions.
Therefore, in order to have a much more positive world, we must learn from our past experiences. We must make sure that everything we do is geared towards bearing a positively fruitful result. They do not have to be good for us alone, but of course, for the good of all. Doing so, we will find ourselves humble enough to become true stewards of society.
Inner Self Quotes For Self Discovery
Give yourself the gift of inner peace you deserve in your life with inspiration and wisdom from these comforting quotes of self-discovery.
For a few people, self-discovery and the gift of introspection is just a natural part of their lives. However, for most people on the planet, it’s a daily experience of living their lives moment by moment. Not in the moment, but in such a way that they never are aware enough to explore their inner self.
It is only when a major life-changing event occurs that they are able to change their perspective enough to start seeking the truth that is in the true nature of their inner self.
Introspection and the path of self-discovery is a meditation journey that only you can take, no one can do this for you. This becomes a journey that we experience not only deep inside our hearts, but you must also live and deal with the outside world effectively.
We cannot be completely consumed with the external world and death our entire lives. The path to finding the wisdom and guidance that exists in your inner self is one that you can embark upon just by learning a few principles.
Meditation and self-contemplation are your tools you need to find how your inner self and outer self can exist in harmony during your stay within this third-dimensional experience.

My Inner Self: Teaching Others – Sharing Your Spiritual Growth With Others
Another important thing is that people should find the will to share and teach others everything my inner self has learned while going through the process of spiritual awakening. It is critical that other people should learn too, all about your realizations in order for positivism to mutate and multiply all over the place. Really, having a positive spirit within you will ensure that you will be able to easily develop relationships with other people.
Bottom line is, if you truly wish to develop your own spiritual awakening, you will first need to have a holistic approach to life-based on the things that have been mentioned. And when you have already seized the moment realizing each, then definitely everything becomes too easy for you to handle; saving you from the pessimistic pursuits of the world.
Most of all, it is exceedingly essential for my inner self-hood to go the extra mile of being a steward for spirituality wherein you will share your spiritual relationship with other people to guide them into achieving the same level of spirituality.
Yes, it is true that every person in the world is connected to one another and therefore, it becomes vital that you share a part of yourself with other people at the same time, make them see the world from a higher self-perspective.
As you act more of a mentor for them, they will soon realize the value of spiritual growth; learning that they too, just like your inner self can cultivate a much better world—a beautiful world that draws closer to spiritual growth.
Inner Self and Outer Self: Achieving Spiritual Satisfaction
In a world that is governed mainly by materialism and capitalism, it seems as if there is never enough that a person can own. Even if a human being has already achieved so much of which mostly are material things, it seems that these things do not entirely satisfy his needs, but rather his wants.
Such a characteristic that primarily describes more than half of the nation, it is therefore important to take action before people destroy one another for the sole benefit of becoming much richer, much more successful or much more beautiful.
These people have to realize that all of the possessions and pleasures in life are only temporary which they can never bring with them when they pass away.
However, with a thing called spiritual satisfaction, a person can finally say that he does not want any worldly things to satisfy themselves but more of the spiritual inner self and outer self of wealth.
And while attaining the inner self and outer self of spiritual satisfaction is definitely difficult to reach, such a process is actually the same with people called hermits who choose to live in the mountains in pure solitude and peace.
However, considering the world like ours, it is much more difficult nowadays to live like hermits especially since our lives are now basically dominated by materialism, the media, and technology.
It is wise that a person does not take being a hermit literally, rather take it as a challenge in order to live in simplicity and satisfaction.
3 Tips For Living In The Moment
The first thing that you have to do is to think with the divine intelligence of the inner self and the outer self and disregard the value of quantity. More often than not, people mistake quantity as the basis for richness and value. However, it is exactly the opposite of it.
The second thing that you can do is simply live at the moment. Many people are too concerned with their past or perhaps their future that they soon fail to realize that they are in fact living in the present. Thus, they ultimately forget the value of the things that they have today since they are totally blinded by things that have already happened or have not even occurred yet.
In order to live with spiritual satisfaction with your Inner Self, you need to live right now and right here without exceptions. Enjoy every moment that has been given to you and make sure that every second and every minute counts for something important. As long as you are aware of this need, then you can definitely develop into a much more satisfied and spiritual individual.
Inner Self and Outer Self – Accepting That You Are Enough
The third and perhaps the most important part that you should know is that by being yourself, you are already enough. The act of belittling one’s self or perhaps saying that he is not enough can totally hinder him from achieving spiritual satisfaction. As long as you see yourself not worthy, then you are limiting yourself to every possible thing that can come about to you.
Remember that as long as you do not see your true image of yourself, then it only means that you are slowly getting farther from the true source energy that has made you from its likeness of unlimited pure positive energy.
Inner Self Meditation and Spiritual Awakening
Inner Self Meditation is widely considered a spiritual practice for various purposes. For most, it is associated with a silent and calming process that is often used to foster self-reflection. In Christian spiritual training, meditation means thinking with concentration about some topic; in the Eastern sense, meditation may be viewed as the opposite of thinking about a topic. Most forms of meditation call for quieting of the mind, but there is more to meditation than just closing one’s eyes. The subtle state of mind, which is the ultimate stage of meditation, requires a tremendous amount of energy to reach, hopefully resulting in being at peace with oneself. If the function of meditation is to heal and transform, then the energy used is mindfulness.

A full understanding of how our mind works is instrumental in this endeavor. Everything around us – tangible and intangible – are all products of the mind and its processes. Human perception is limited, and what we sense in our surroundings is its mere products. Take color for instance. Color is just a quality assigned by the brain in accordance with different degrees of wavelengths.
So color in itself is just an illusion, and we can’t really tell that red or blue is an absolute truth when describing specific objects. And knowing that our mind is limited by the interpretations of the human brain, we will need to do away with the mind while trying to attempt this exercise.
You need to look at the mind like a casual observer and treat it as something that is separate from our selves. Try to relax and concentrate, and ensure that you are in a location secluded from outside interference.
A Short Inner Self Meditation Concept You Can Use
Imagine that you are in an invisible dome and that the mind is outside, wherein thoughts and fancies are unable to penetrate. If you achieve this, profound silence will ensue, and you will feel that you are free of the mind. You’ll feel stronger, bigger, and more encompassing.
And in the state of heightened consciousness, you will have a glimpse of reality, as opposed to the false reality that our mind perceives. You will feel peaceful, and a sense of connection with everything will be felt in a more profound manner.
Listen To Your Inner Self and Separate From the Pressures Of Daily Life
Understanding the inner self would lead to an understanding of our higher selves. This would increase our knowledge and understanding of how the higher self unites with the universe. In meditation, you get the chance to tap into your inner self and get in touch on how it sees your life.
Getting in touch with your Inner Self will provide guidance towards lasting happiness and fulfillment.
Meditation is about listening to the Inner Self, therefore it has everything to do with controlling your attention and focusing. There are too many distractions that it is very hard for some to focus their attention on what is important and keeping the attention on a fixed object.
When focused on a fixed object or field, one-pointedness could be experienced and could take you to a completely different state. This one-pointedness is not that easy to achieve though, there are some who would need to meditate for years to achieve it. It should be noted that the higher and lighter energies that currently exist in our world make higher states of mind more accessible and will continue to increase into the future and will facilitate our soul’s Ascension.
When one-pointedness is achieved, the person would experience bliss. Bliss is referred to as a natural state of the soul which cannot be experienced easily in daily lives. During this meditative state, spirituality, your Inner Self and the mind expands its consciousness and understanding of nature and the universe. Destructive thinking and behavior brought about by the materialistic and fast-paced world can be flushed away by focusing more on your spirituality.
A deeper understanding and knowledge of your Inner Self would be felt and the body would be in one with the universe. This they say would be what would link us to the Supreme Being. Attaining this one-pointedness could somehow be compared to a spiritual awakening, where the body and the mind can fully understand what cannot be seen or touch in the material world.
Practice Is Fundamental
This takes a lot of practice and discipline. Yes, it’s not easy but it is inherent that you give yourself the opportunity to be alone and in a place where nothing can disturb you. Through constant practice, achieving spiritual awakening of your Inner Self will be second nature to you and this heightened consciousness will last longer.
Most important of all, this practice can help you improve the quality of your life first which will allow you to improve the quality of life in others. Remember, “as within, so without”, and that you are a spiritual being having a human experience.
You can help change the world, everything you do no matter how small or seemingly insignifient to make yourself better counts.
